Company History
HHF was started in 1987 by Brant Hoffmann in Auburn, Ca. At Truckee High School (class of ’73), Brant was introduced to woodshop and began his love for woodworking. As a general contractor, he built many houses and decided to try his hand at hardwood flooring. Since then the company has grown to twenty-five employees and a thriving business during the peak of building a decade ago. Now, like almost all contractors, Brant has downsized and prefers a more hands-on relationship with our customers. Brant has passed his skills onto his sons, also partners in Hoffmann Hardwood Flooring.
Aaron Hoffmann may be one of the most knowledgeable in the industry. At twenty-eight years old, Aaron has incredible precision and experience. His specialties include border and radius work, as well as custom stairs. Aaron is incredibly articulate and talkative; be aware that entering into a conversation with him may be time consuming.
Blake Hoffmann is a sanding and finishing specialist. He also started to learn the family business at a young age and is experienced in water damage issues. Blake attended the University of San Diego where he studied business and Spanish.
